mercury's atomic weight is 200.59 whereas Lead's atomic weight is 207.2. So basically, if you had the exact same amount of Lead and Mercury, lead is heavier. The density of mercury is 13.53 grams per cm3, and the density of lead is only 11.4 grams per cm3. The answer is different depending on the interpretation.
